Glencairn, similar to Fish Hoek in certain aspects, is nestled in a valley between Fish Hoek and Simonstown, in what`s often referred to as Cape Town`s "Deep South"

Glencairn is situated on the opposite side of Elsie's Peak on the way down to Simonstown. In a sense, very similar to Fish Hoek in that it is surrounded by mountains and is within a valley, also playing host to a nature reserve.
